Terms and Conditions
Prior to commencing your driving lessons with Level Up Driving Academy Instruction, you will be required to thoroughly read and sign the terms and conditions. For students who are under 18 years of age, it is necessary for a parent or guardian to sign a copy of the terms and conditions.
To schedule driving lessons, you must: Be at least 17 years old (or 16 if you are disabled). You are required to possess a valid UK or foreign driving licence (this may be either provisional or full). It is your duty to present this proof to your driving instructor prior to your initial driving lesson. If you fail to provide this proof, your lesson will be cancelled. Please note that you may still incur charges if you do not give at least 48 hours' notice before the lesson. It is your obligation to ensure that you are fit to drive. Notify your driving instructor of any medical conditions, disabilities, or injuries that could impact your driving ability. Adhere to the eyesight regulation, which requires you to read a number plate from a distance of 20 metres. If you need contact lenses or glasses, they must be worn throughout the entire driving lesson.
Level Up Driving Academy maintains a strict policy against any form of verbal or physical abuse, whether it is directed towards your driving instructor, a driving examiner, or any other road user.
Your driving instructor holds the authority to terminate any lesson at any point. Such decisions will be made based on the client’s behaviour, sobriety, or mental state. In these cases, the lesson fee will be forfeited.
The lesson commences at the designated time with a possible variation of +/-10/15 minutes. The student will be notified of any alterations to the schedule (due to factors such as traffic, accidents, etc.) at the earliest opportunity, making it essential to remain reachable by phone while awaiting the lesson.
If a student arrives at the lesson exhibiting signs of illness, the instructor is entitled to decline to conduct the lesson for health-related reasons, and the student will be responsible for the payment of that lesson.
Upon arrival at the predetermined location, the instructor will remain in the vehicle for 15 minutes. If the student does not arrive within this timeframe, the instructor will depart, and the student will be responsible for the payment of the missed lesson.
The term 'lesson' refers to a duration of 100 minutes. (Double Lesson)
A minimum notice of 48 hours (either verbally or via text) MUST be provided to cancel or reschedule any booked lessons. Any cancellations made late will incur a charge at the standard rate, or if the lesson has been prepaid, it will be forfeited.
The cost of renting the car for the test, along with a one-hour driving lesson prior to the test on the day of the examination, amounts to £160.
In the event that we cannot provide the car for the exam because of technical issues (such as a breakdown), we will not be held financially liable – please keep in mind that the car is operational at all times.
All offers and prepaid lessons are non-refundable unless stated otherwise and must be utilized within 8 weeks.
The initial lesson must be paid for at the time of booking, and the available slot is NOT secured until your driving instructor has received full payment.
Bookings are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Offers will be lost if a test is arranged without first consulting your driving instructor and without coming to a prior agreement on this issue. In cases where the guidance of your driving instructor is ignored, they cannot ensure that their vehicle will be available for the test. If there is a gap of more than two weeks between lessons, your driving instructor cannot guarantee availability since we are unable to reserve slots. This also applies to the time following a driving test.
All prepaid lessons must be paid directly to your driving instructor via Cash, PayPal, or Bank Transfer. Payment details will be confirmed once the lessons are booked.
